Tour A is the El Nido most people picture before they arrive: sheer limestone walls, water that shifts from jade to turquoise, and a kayak gliding into a lagoon.

On a private boat the route is the same, but the day is yours. Start earlier, stay longer where you like it, and skip a stop if you would rather swim.

The route

Typical stops

The standard published route. Your crew confirms the final stops and order with you, based on lagoon limits, tides and the sea.

  1. Big Lagoon or Small Lagoon

Paddle in by kayak between towering cliffs. Daily visitor limits apply, and which lagoon your day includes depends on the operator and the day’s capacity.

  2. Secret Lagoon

A small enclosed pool reached through a gap in the rock.

  3. Shimizu Island

Calm, clear water for snorkelling and a classic lunch stop.

  4. Seven Commando Beach

A long palm-backed beach for a slow afternoon.
