A few things before you go.
Can’t find your question? Ask it in the planner notes or on WhatsApp, and we will answer it with your quote.
Planning and booking
Your booking is for your group rather than individual seats on a shared boat. You can discuss your preferred pace, departure time, and stops with the crew. Routes still depend on weather, permits, and local access rules.
Start with the kind of day you want: lagoons (Tour A), caves and a sandbar (Tour B), hidden beaches and snorkelling (Tour C), or a gentle day close to town (Tour D). If you only have one day, ask about a private A + C combination.
Local boat operators and crews in El Nido run your day. We plan it with you, match you with a boat and crew that suit your group and route, send one written quote, and stay your point of contact before and on the day.
Plan your day in the trip planner, or message us on WhatsApp with your dates, group size and the tour you like. We reply with a written quote that lists what is included, which fees are extra and the plan for the day. Nothing is booked until you accept the quote.
Every quote lists exactly what is included. A private boat comes with its crew, and many trips include lunch and snorkelling gear, but this varies by operator and boat, so we state it in writing. Environmental and lagoon fees are paid per person unless your quote says they are included.
Prices
You book a private boat for your group, and the price grows a little with each guest. Day tours start from a set total for two guests, and each extra guest adds a fixed amount. Entrance, environmental and lagoon fees are paid per person on top, and your quote says whether they are included.
Our private day tours start from ₱14,500 (Tours A and D), ₱15,500 (Tour B) or ₱16,500 (Tour C) for two guests, with each extra guest adding ₱1,600 to ₱1,800. Starting prices are based on current regular rates. Peak-season supplements may apply. We confirm your total price for your travel dates before booking. Entrance and environmental fees are extra.
On the day
Yes, that is one of the main reasons to go private. You can discuss an early, standard or later start, within daily lagoon limits and local rules.
Tell us where you are staying, or that you have not booked yet, when you enquire. We confirm the meeting point, any pickup option and any transfer cost in your quote, so you know where to be before the day.
Reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, a swimsuit and a towel, water shoes for rocky entrances, a dry bag for your phone, and some cash for any fees your quote lists as paid on the day. Your crew can tell you what else is useful for your route.
The calmest seas usually come in the dry season, roughly December to May. June to October brings the southwest monsoon, with more rain and some cancelled trips, but fewer visitors.
Safety and weather
Yes, children can join most routes. Tell us how many children come and their ages, and we suggest a suitable route and pace, such as the gentle Tour D. A boat should carry a life jacket for every guest, including child sizes, and the crew should give a safety briefing. Ask for these in writing before you book. Our safety page lists the questions to ask any operator.
The Philippine Coast Guard and local authorities can suspend sea travel when conditions are unsafe, and no operator should sail then. If your trip is cancelled because of the weather, you can move it to another available date at no extra charge. Refund terms, if you cannot reschedule, are set out in your written quote before you confirm. Leaving a spare day in your plans turns a cancelled trip into a change of date.
Choosing a tour
If you want time in the lagoons without a fixed group schedule, yes. A private boat lets you discuss your start time, linger where you like, and head back when you are ready. The lagoons themselves are still shared with other visitors.
Usually one of the two, not both. Which one depends on the operator and the day’s visitor capacity, and your crew confirms it before your trip. To see both lagoons, plan for two days on the water.
It is a varied day with beaches, a sandbar and caves, which many families enjoy. Share your children’s ages when you plan, so the crew can suggest the right order and pace.
Tour A is the lagoon day and the classic first choice. Tour C is the beach and snorkelling day, further out and a little more adventurous. If you only have one day, a private A + C combination is worth asking about.
Not as a standard stop. Tour D is built around Cadlao Lagoon and the beaches near town. Big Lagoon and Small Lagoon are usually part of Tour A, one or the other on a given day. Your crew confirms the final route before your trip.
Private crews often offer a combined A + C day by choosing a selection of stops from each route. It is a fuller day, and the final stops depend on daily lagoon limits and sea conditions.
Tell us what you have in mind when you plan, and we will ask partner crews what they can arrange, from timing and privacy to small setups. Details and prices are confirmed on WhatsApp.
